WHERE TO STAY

Travelling a hefty distance and looking for somewhere to stay that’s close to the festival? We recommend the following hotels – both of which are a short 15-minute walk from the site:

Holiday Inn London – Stratford City

10a Chestnut Plaza, London E20 1GL, UK

+44 20 3301 4040

Holiday Inn Express Stratford

+44 20 8536 8000

There are a bunch of further options for places to stay near the festival.

TRAVEL

GENERAL

When arriving and leaving the site, please do so as quietly and respectfully as humanly possible. It’s the May Day Bank Holiday Weekend so Westfield Shopping Centre will be jammed to the rafters with families enjoying a day out and I doubt they want to know who dropped your favourite DJ set or where the after party is.

Please dispose of any litter in the bins provided and use the portable toilets/urinals next to the station and on route to the site to your heart’s content. They’re there to help.

Don’t forget – last entry will be at 18:00 and no later.

SITE ADDRESS

London Way, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, E15 2EE

View on Google Maps

(Please note that the postcode for Taxi and Private Hire drop-off is different – see below for more information).

When getting directions, please do NOT enter ‘Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park’ into Google Maps as this will take you to the wrong area of the park. Please use the postcode provided for the Main Entrance where there will be specific lanes for both General Admission and Guest List.

Remember to keep an eye on travel alerts the morning before you travel and plan how you will be getting home after the event. CityMapper is a brilliant app for planning your route – especially if you don’t know London that well: https://citymapper.com

You can find more information about travel to and from the site right here: http://www.queenelizabetholympicpark.co.uk/the-park/plan-your-visit/getting-here

We highly recommend using the https://citymapper.com app or planning your journey with Barclays Cycle Superhighway from Central London (Aldgate) to Stratford City.

BY COACH

If you’re looking for a long-distance coach travelling to the park: www.nationalexpress.com

BY CAR

There is no parking nearby, so we would advise using public transport. If you’re a blue badge holder and you require a parking space, please make your way to Here East car park which is just across the road from site. You will not be charged for the parking.

BY TAXI AND PRIVATE HIRE

There will be a dedicated drop-off and pick up rank near to site. Please direct your driver to the Copper Box Arena (E20 3HB) and follow the event signage.

When you leave the site, you will be able to grab a Black Cab from the taxi rank or direct your private hire vehicle thereby giving them the instructions above. All you need to do is follow the signs on the exit.

Uber will provide specific pick-up location on the day so please be aware of this.
