Arcadia is based on a farm just south of Bristol, surrounded by stunning countryside and puzzled neighbours. We build all our installations from scrap materials. |

Bert began his journey after qualifying as an engineer at technical school. Since 1996 he has worked as tent master for Kayam being solely responsible for the erection and maintenance of tensile structures around the world and the wellbeing of up 25,000 ravers within them. He has also used the structures to produce large ‘private’ events throughout England in the off seasons. |
||
With ideas evolving through work with the event structures giant Kayam, and artistic collective Mutoid Waste, Arcadia was formed at the beginning of 2008 with the collaboration of Pip Rush and Bert Cole. |

Pip has been influenced by a variety of artistic family members, and began crawling around explosive Mutoid parties whilst still in his nappies. Since 1996, armed with welding qualification, he has worked with Mutoid Waste and Wrekon welding giant scrap sculptures for festivals around the world including Fuji Rock in Japan. In 2004 he began a journey with his own inventions and was inspired by fire upon meeting a madman on a robotic horse He has worked as a core member of Trash city since it's birth at Glastonbury and has produced creative afterhours arenas at various other music festivals around Europe. |
